Switch fullscreen solid colors to inspect dead pixels, stuck pixels and uniformity issues.
How to use this test
Enter fullscreen, cycle through black, white, red, green, blue and other solid colors, and inspect the entire panel from a normal viewing distance. Use the Previous/Next overlay or arrow keys while fullscreen.
How the measurement works
The browser fills the test surface with uniform RGB colors so pixels that remain dark, bright or stuck on one subpixel color are easier to see.
How to interpret results
A dead pixel often stays dark across bright patterns, while a stuck pixel may remain red, green, blue or another fixed color. Dust or panel coating marks can look similar, so inspect more than one pattern.
Troubleshooting tips
Clean the screen gently, test multiple colors and confirm the mark stays in the exact same panel location. This tool can reveal a symptom but cannot repair damaged display hardware.
