Gaming Tests

Mouse DPI Calculator

Convert sensitivity between DPI values and calculate eDPI with clear formulas.

Why results may vary

Browsers cannot automatically detect physical mouse DPI, so values must be entered manually.

How to use this test

Enter your current DPI and in-game sensitivity, then enter the new DPI you want to use. The calculator shows the equivalent sensitivity that preserves the same eDPI.

How the measurement works

eDPI is calculated as DPI multiplied by sensitivity. Equivalent sensitivity preserves that product: current DPI × current sensitivity = new DPI × new sensitivity.

How to interpret results

Matching eDPI is a useful mathematical starting point when changing DPI in the same game or sensitivity scale. It does not automatically account for different games, FOV, acceleration or sensitivity formulas.

Troubleshooting tips

Confirm the DPI value in your mouse software and use the game's exact numeric sensitivity. If converting between different games, use a game-specific converter rather than assuming identical sensitivity scales.
