Audio & Camera Tests

Speaker Test

Play conservative left, right or stereo test tones with frequency and volume controls.

Why results may vary

Browser and operating-system audio routing may affect channel separation.

How to use this test

Choose a conservative volume and tone frequency, then play Left, Right or Both. Left/right buttons are disabled if the browser cannot provide stereo panning.

How the measurement works

Web Audio creates a short oscillator tone, applies gain and uses StereoPannerNode for channel isolation when supported. Audio starts only after a user action.

How to interpret results

A left test should be heard predominantly from the left channel and a right test from the right. The Both test checks general output but cannot diagnose every speaker-frequency problem.

Troubleshooting tips

Check system balance, output device selection and physical cable orientation. If stereo isolation is unavailable, try another modern browser or use the Both Speakers test.
