Keyboard Tests

Typing Speed Test

Measure WPM, raw WPM, accuracy, errors and typed characters with original local passages.

Why results may vary

WPM depends on passage difficulty, keyboard layout, browser focus and whether corrections are allowed.

How to use this test

Pick a duration, place the cursor in the typing box and type the shown passage. The timer starts on the first character and paste or drop input is blocked so the score reflects typing only.

How the measurement works

Characters are compared against an original local passage. Correct characters produce WPM, all typed characters produce raw WPM, and accuracy is the ratio between correct and total typed characters.

How to interpret results

WPM shows usable speed, raw WPM shows total output and accuracy shows control. A balanced result usually beats a higher raw WPM with many errors.

Troubleshooting tips

If the round starts unexpectedly, reset and focus the typing box again. Change duration only before a run and use a hardware keyboard for the most comparable results.
