How to use this test
Start the test and move the pointer through the active field using natural sweeps. Stop when you have enough movement to compare distance, elapsed time, peak speed and path efficiency.
How the measurement works
The browser reports successive pointer coordinates. The tool sums pixel distance between samples, divides distance by elapsed time for average cursor speed and records the fastest observed segment.
How to interpret results
The result describes browser cursor movement in pixels per second, not the mouse sensor's physical IPS specification. Use it to compare pointer settings or consistency on the same display setup.
Troubleshooting tips
Keep zoom and OS pointer speed unchanged between runs. If movement looks jumpy, close heavy tabs, disable remote-desktop software and compare with another browser.
